PSI-CET scam! Siddu demands judicial probe with Minister Ashwathnarayana’s name surfacing in ‘illegality’

Mysuru: With the PSI-CET scam getting more murkier with every passing day, Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah has demanded for a judicial enquiry by high court judge.

Siddaramaiah who spoke to media persons in the city on Thursday said “With the name of Higher Education  minister Dr C N Ashwathnarayana surfacing in the scam, police won’t be able to investigate against those being a part of the government. So we at Congress party demand for a judicial enquiry by High Court judge”.

Siddaramaiah said those all who are in the police custody are mediators, while the kingpins are underground. The government officials and senior politicians are also involved in the scam. The statements made by Home Minister Aaraga Jnanendra are irresponsible, Siddaramaiah claimed.

Siddaramaiah further alleged that “Rs 300 crore has changed hands in the scam. Minister Ashwathnarayana’s”s close aides Darshan Gowda and Nagesh Gowda got highest marks with the help of a nefarious deal. The candidates who were selected spent Rs 40 lakh to Rs one crore to land jobs, he alleged.
