Pro- Pak Slogans: Three arrested, sent to Police custody till March 6

Bengaluru: Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with pro-Pakistan slogans raised at the corridors of Vidhana Soudha on February 27. 
Those arrested are- Ilthaz from Delhi, Munavar from R T Nagar in Bengaluru and Mohammed Shafi Nashipudi, a Byadgi Chilli merchant from Haveri district. 
They were produced before 39th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court and have been remanded to three-day police custody till March 6.
On Tuesday morning, Home Minister Parameshwar confirmed that the case involving pro-Pakistan slogans had been cracked and the FSL report supported the existence of these slogans. Following the report, we took action and arrested three individuals.
Earlier, our government had stated that FSL reports were final and now we have taken action, Parameshwar asserted.
After the results of Rajya Sabha election on February 27, supporters of Congress candidate Syed Nasir Hussain who was re-elected had shouted slogans and amidst these, pro-Pakistan slogans were also raised.
Following this incident, there had been a heated exchange of charges between main opposition party BJP and Congress. 
On Monday, BJP had released a report of private laboratory, confirming the raising of pro- Pakistan slogans, stepping up the heat on Congress to act. However FSL report is yet to be made public.
