Pro- Kannada activists protest against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, MES in Mysuru

Mysuru: Several pro- Kannada organisations staged a protest against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES) at Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Circle ( formerly Hardinge Circle) in the city on Friday.
Kannada activists condemned MES’ atrocity on Kannada flag in Maharashtra and damage caused to Freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna’s statue in Belagavi recently.
As various Kannada organizations withdrew Karnataka bandh call, the activists staged protest at various cities including Bengaluru and Mysuru.
Kannada activists Muguru Nanjundaswamy, Thayur Vittalamurthy, B A Shivashankar and others staged protest in Mysuru and raised slogans against MES and Shiv Sena.
