Private transport vehicles call off Bengaluru bandh

Bengaluru: The Federation of Karnataka State Private Transport Association has withdrawn their bandh call – on Monday – after the State government agreed to their demands.
Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy visited Freedom Park where the federation members were protesting. Speaking to mediapersons after meeting the protesters, Minister Reddy said that he has promised to meet some of their demands. “I have explained to them that the government need sometime to meet a few of their demands. I have told them that I am with them,” Minister Reddy said. He further said that he will take their demands to the chief minister for discussion.
