Prez Draupadi Murmu given Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara invite

New Delhi: A delegation of Karnataka especially the Mysuru district administration led by Cooperation and district incharge Minister S T Somashekar formally extended the Mysuru Dasara invitation to President of India Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday.

Somashekar accompanied by Mysuru Mayor Shivakumar and Mysuru- Kodagu MP Prathap Simha handed over the invitation to the first citizen of the country.

Murmu is scheduled to inaugurate Dasara at Chamundi Hill in Mysuru on September 26, during the auspicious time between 9.45 AM and 10.05 AM that falls in Vrishchchika lagna.

Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, acting chief justice of Karnataka High Court Alok Aradhe and several other dignitaries have been already invited for the annual festival.
