New Delhi: President of India Ramnath Kovind on Saturday appointed Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister.
The President on his Twitter account has announced that- exercising powers under Article 75 (1) of the Constitution of India Preident Kovind today appointed Narendra Modi to the office of Prime Minister of India’.
Narendra Modi in his Twitter handle had made opening remarks in bold- Staked claim to form the government.
Modi during his meeting with President at Rashtrapati Bhavan, has also handed over the letter of support of the allies. What remains is the list of council of ministers to be given to the president’s office to fulfil the formalities to facilitate the swearing- in ceremony.
Modi before leaving Rashtrapati Bhavan addressed media- coined a new slogan- Sab ka saath sab ka vikas and sab ka vishwas.
