Presha-Kashish pair triumphs in ITF Junior Tennis Tournament

Bengaluru: India’s Presha Shanthamoorthi maintained her winning run by annexing the doubles title in the ITF Junior (girls U-18) tennis tournament in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, recently.
The Bengaluru girl, partnering Kashish Kant of the USA, scored a straight-set 6-3, 6-2 win over the Brazilian pair of Beatriz Dias and Bruna Liotta de Carvalho.
Presha and Kashish had won the doubles title a week earlier too, beating the same pair in the final, 6-2, 6-1.
Results: Final: Presha Shanthamoorthi (Ind)/ Kashish Kant (USA) bt Beatriz Dias/ Bruna Liotto de Carvalho (Bra) 6-3, 6-2; Semis: bt Jannat Chiripal/ Jayani Jeebu (Ind) 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).
