Preamble Wall Frames unveiled at Mysuru City Congress office

Mysuru: Social Welfare and District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa unveiled the Preamble Wall Frames at Indira Gandhi Congress Bhavan, on JLB road in the city on Saturday.
The two boards, one each in Kannada and English, consisting of the preamble of the Constitution of India drafted by architect of the Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar, has been installed on the wall of the main auditorium of the party office.
On the occasion of Platinum Jubilee year of adopting the Constitution of India, Mysuru City Congress Committee President R Murthy and Rural Congress Committee President Dr B J Vijaykumar, have donated the boards to the party office.
The Constitution was adopted and enacted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949.
MLAs K Harish Gowda and Darshan Dhruvanarayan, MLC Dr D Thimmaiah, former MLAs Dr Bharathishankar and G N Nanjunda Swamy, Chairman of Karnataka Exhibition Authority Ayub Khan, former Chairman of Mysuru Urban Development Authority H V Rajeev, former Corporators Shivanna, M Pradeep Kumar and M K Ashok were present.
