Power Cup! Golden Eagles team wins Puneeth Rajkumar memorial cricket tournament

Mysuru: Golden Eagles team emerged winners in ‘Power Cup’ a flood light Cricket tournament organised by KHB Sports Association as a part of the birth anniversary of Sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar on March 26 and 27 at Water Tank grounds, Vijayanagar fourth stage in the city.

Future Cricket Club was the runner’s up, followed by Hootagalli Dosths the second runner and Power Stars Hootagalli securing the fourth place.
Best bowler: Ravi – Golden Eagles
Best batsman: Amruth – Future Cricket Club 
Man of the series: Hemanth – Future Cricket Club 

In all 26 teams played in the tournament. The 30 yards flood light match was of four overs in league and six overs in final with entry fee of Rs 1000. The first prize winner pocketed Rs 20,000, second prize Rs 10,000 and third prize Rs 5,000 with trophy.

Chamundeshwari MLA G T Devegowda  inaugurated  the tournament. MCDCC Bank President G D Harish Gowda, Chandrika Suresh ZP Member, Hemanth Kumar President of Karnataka Exhibition Authority, actor Virat, Siddaraju Gram Panchayat Member, Rakesh Rai A President KHBSA (R) Hootagalli, Yashwanth  Kumar Secretory & Naveen Y R Treasurer, Kiran Kumar C M, Vinyas, Chethan H B, Manu M, Chethan Yogaraj, Dharshan, Pawan, Rakshit, Keerthan Kaverappa, SiddeGowda, Prasanna, Prashanth and other registered members were present.
