Post disqualification, Congress expels its 14 ex-MLAs in Karnataka

New Delhi: Following the disqualification of its 14 MLAs in Karnataka, All India Congress Committee has expelled them from the party on Tuesday.
They are- Mahesh Kumatalli, Shrimant Patil, Ramesh L Jarkiholi, Prathap Gowda Patil, Shivaram Hebbar, B C Patil, R Shankar, Anand Singh, Dr K Sudhakar, B Basavaraj, S T Somashekar, Muniratna, R Roshan Baig and MTB Nagaraj.
The then speaker K R Ramesh Kumar had disqualified them as MLAs, after they failed to appear in person to provide proper reasons behind their resignation.
It had ked to the topple of Janata Dal ( Secular) and Congress coalition government in the State.
