Police raid Mysuru Jail; seize cash, ganja

Mysuru: The city police raided Central Prison Mysuru on Monday and seized cash and ganja from the premises.
Following the instructions of Police Commissioner B Ramesh, the police led by DCP (Law and Order) M Muthuraj and DCP (Crime and Traffic) S Jahnavi conducted surprise raid and inspected the premises.
A case has been registered at Mandi Police Station regarding the seizure of unaccounted cash and ganja.
The ACPs of all units, ACP (CCB), Inspectors, sniffer dog and Anti-sabotage check (ASC) team were in the raid party, stated a press release from Police Commissioner’s office.
