POCSO! Music teacher jailed for six years

Mysuru: A music teacher is convicted of sexually harassing girl students. He is sentenced to imprisonment for a period of six years and fine of Rs 10,000 is imposed on him.
Judge of POCSO Special Court B S Jayashree awarded the imprisonment to Siddaraju a music teacher at Government High School N R Mohalla.
Following a complaint by head master of the school, the women police at Mandi police station had counselled the victims. The victims had disclosed that the convict was sexually harassing them both inside and outside the class room.
Following this a charge sheet had been submitted at the court, according to Special Public Prosecutor B C Shivarudra Swamy.
