PM’s visit: No entry to Chamundi Hill, temple, for devotees on June 20

Mysuru: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Chamundeshwari temple at Chamundi Hill on June 20, the devotees and general public are restricted from visiting the temple from 12 noon to 9 PM.

According to a notification issued from the office of deputy commissioner, it is stated that the movement of devotees to the hills from the stairs is prohibited during the restricted hours. Barring the emergency service vehicles, the other vehicles irrespective of public and private are also prohibited. The residents of Chamundi Hills in case of any emergency shall produce the identity of the residence.

Barring VIPs provided with protocol as announced by the central and state governments, officers on duty and emergency vehicles, the movement of private vehicles are prohibited, the notification added.
