PM Narendra Modi lambasts Congress for CAA, NRC agitation

Tumakuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi lambasted Congress party for the ongoing agitations against Citizenship Amendment Act ( CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC).
Modi was taking part in a programme organised at Siddaganga Mutt in the town on January 2.
Strongly defending the law, Modi said “CAA is being implemented to provide relief to dalits and other minorities who have been the victims of persecution in Pakistan and other countries. The partition of the country took place on the basis of religion and gave birth to Pakistan”.
Instead of questioning Pakistan which has been torturing the minorities, Congress is questioning the parliament of the country, said Modi.
