Mysuru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Tuesday said “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hinted about making Covid vaccine in another few weeks”.
The chief minister who arrived at Mysuru Airport told media persons that “the prime minister held a video conference with chief ministers to review about the situation over pandemic. The vaccine is expected to be available in four to five weeks. Hence the states are making necessary arrangements”.
When asked about any plans to impose another round of lockdown in the State, Yediyurappa refused to comment.
Deputy Chief Minister Govind M Krajol, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, district incharge minister S T Somashekar, MP Pratap Simha, Mayor Tasneem, Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri were present.
