PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ turns 100, says it’s a spiritual journey for him

Mysuru: Emphasising that the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was his way to connect with the people of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it was not just a programme that was aired last Sunday of every month but a spiritual journey.
He was addressing the 100th episode of the popular programme on Sunday. In a historic moment, the 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was broadcast live from the United Nations Headquarters in New York and was also aired in the UN’s Trusteeship Council Chamber.
The ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme was first aired on October 3, 2014 and is regarded as one of the citizen-outreach programme. Throughout his programme, Modi thanked the people for being an inspiration for his programme. As he said “Mann Ki Baat is the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of millions of Indians and the expressions of their emotions.
He also said that “Mann Ki Baat gave me solution to connect with people, it’s not merely a programme but fait, spiritual journey to me.”
