PM Kisan scheme: Last date to apply is June 28

Mysuru: Tahsildar of Hunsur Basavaraju has appealed to the farmers in the taluk to make use of benefit extended under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojane popularly known as ‘ PM Kisan Scheme’.
In a joint media briefing along with taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Krishna Kumar, the officer said ‘ till now 28,038 farmers have applied for the scheme. More farmers can apply as the last date is extended till June 28. Under the scheme, the farmers will get Rs 6,000 distributed in three equal instalments’.
The applications are available at all gram Panchayat offices and Raitha samparka Kendra. It is applicable only for the farmers.
Assistant Director of Agriculture Rangaswamy was present.
