New Delhi: The 7th edition of the prestigious ‘Phenomenal She’ Awards, organised by the Indian National Bar Association (INBA), was held with grandeur, recognising the remarkable contributions of women achievers from across the nation.
The ceremony was graced by Justice Sangeeta Dhingra, Judge of the Delhi High Court, who delivered an inspiring address while presenting the awards.
The ‘Phenomenal She’ Awards celebrates extraordinary women who have excelled in diverse fields, from law, medicine and education to entrepreneurship and social service. These women are meticulously handpicked, undergoing a rigorous due diligence process to ensure that the recognition is purely merit-based. The event stands as a testament to integrity, celebrating real talent without commercial influences.
A notable absentee from the occasion was former Chief Justice of India, K G Balakrishnan, whose presence was greatly missed.
Among the distinguished awardees was Dr Sutturu Malini S S, Genetic Chairperson at the University of Mysore, a trailblazer in forensic science and research, whose groundbreaking contributions have set new benchmarks in forensic investigations in India. Her work has been instrumental in bridging scientific advancements with the judicial system, making forensic science more accessible and effective in the pursuit of justice.
Also honored was Dr Anita Prasad, a fierce advocate for innovation and inclusivity in India. She has made significant strides in robotics, industrial automation, and emerging technologies. In the past year alone, she secured 42 patents, and 2025 is anticipated to be a landmark year, with expectations of over 400+ patents in groundbreaking innovations. As a visionary leader, she has dedicated her life to empowering individuals, challenging societal norms, and inspiring young minds to embrace progress. Her work in fostering independent thought, promoting Indian products, and encouraging technological advancements has been widely recognised.
