PES university donates Rs one crore to CM’s relief fund

Bengaluru: People’s Education Society (PES) University has donated Rs one crore to the chief minister’s flood relief fund on September 13.
Dr M R Doreswamy chancellor of PES University and Pro- chancellor Prof D Jawahar handed over a cheque to the Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
Doreswamy has expressed his intention to adopt 10 rural schools in the flood affected areas and provide infrastructural support to the schools. National service scheme ( NSS) volunteers of the university will be engaged in rehabilitation in the flood hit areas.
In his acknowledgement Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has lauded the gesture of PES in supporting the State at the time of crises.
