Permission denied to investiture ceremony of DKS as KPCC head! Siddaramaiah fumes

Mysuru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday lambasted the government for denying permission to organise the event of anointment of D K Shivakumar as Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee ( KPCC) president.
Speaking to media persons Siddaramaiah the Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly said “the state government is indulging in cheap politics. We had not expected politics in such a savage level from Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa”.
Siddaramaiah questioned- Does the rules differ for Amit Shah in Delhi?
“We were ready to organise the event complying with the norms of social distance. Earlier when we had sought oral permission, the government had also agreed, but chose to deny when we sought it through a letter. We have decided to fight it politically”, fumed Siddaramaiah.
The BJP is feared that, Congress is reorganizing self with the event, said Siddaramaiah.
