Pejawar seer’s mortal remains airlifted to Bengaluru

Udupi: The mortal remains of Udupi Pejawar mutt seer Sri Vishwesha Teerth was airlifted to Bengaluru in Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter. The mortal remains will be kept for viewing at National College Grounds in Bengaluru.
The mortal remains was brought from Ajjarakadu ground where it was kept for for over three hours to enable the devotees to pay their last respects.
The seer who was ailing for sometime was admitted to KMC Hospital in Manipal a few days ago.
As per seer’s wishes to spend his last moments in Sri Krishna Mutt in Udupi, he was shifted to mutt, where he breathed his last at about 9.50 am.
