Pariksha Pe Charcha! M B Tarun prepping up to interact with PM; wants to become IAS officer

Mysuru: M B Tarun, a class 11 student selected from Mysuru is eagerly waiting to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the education system during Pariksha Pe Charcha on April 1.

On April 1 at 11 AM Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with students, teachers and parents in Pariksha Pe Charcha series in online mode.

In this wake Ministry of Education shortlisted students, teachers and parents across the country and abroad totalling 40 including two each teachers and parents.

Tarun who is studying science at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, DMG Halli told Mysoorunews.com “it’s a happy and proud moment for me, particularly my mother Jayanthi K M who is very happy about this”.

Tarun is a native of Malavalli taluk in Mandya district.

“My mother is also a teacher in Mandya. Three to four months back I wrote an essay regarding education reforms and New Education Policy (NEP) for Pariksha Pe charcha competition”, said Tarun about how he made through to bag the opportunity.

Navodaya School is distinctly apart as it has set a model in education in our society. I am studying science and my first goal is to do MBBS and the final goal is to become India Administrative Service (IAS) officer, said Tarun about his ambitions.

Jawahar Navodaya School Principal Madusudhan described Tarun as a bright student and very responsible. His aim is to become IAS officer and serve the society, he added.
