Over 35,000 students to write second PUC exams from today in Mysuru

Mysuru: As the countdown begins for second PUC exams to start, 35,141 students are expected to appear for the exams in Mysuru district.
The exams begins from April 22 and continue till May 18 the last day. This time like SSLC exams strict rules are enforced to check students from wearing religious outfits at exams centers.
PU board has strictly ordered the students and concerned authorities to avoid Hijab and other religious clothings. Only uniform will be allowed at the exam centers.
In Mysuru 35,141 students have enrolled to attend exams at total 50 exam centers including 26 in Mysuru city and 24 in rural levels. The question paper carrying vehicles will be under strict surveillance, and monitored with GPS system.
Mysuru City Police have also imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC within 200 metres radius of each exam centers to ensure free and fair exams.
Deputy Director of PU Education Srinivas Murthy inspected the exam centers and the preparations. There will be no separate Covid halls, but wearing of mask and maintenance of social distance is mandatory, he said.
Srinivas Murthy who wished the students all the best said “students must not fear or think anything other than exams. Don’t pay heed to any rumours”.
