On Mother’s Day, Vijayendra fans gift umbrellas to women street vendors

Mysuru: BJP Yuva Morcha General Secretary B Y Vijayendra Fans Group celebrated World Mother’s Day by gifting umbrellas to women street vendors at Nanjumalige, in the city, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mysuru Milk Union Limited, M D SC Ashok said that “mothers sacrifice everything for the welfare of their children and family. For everyone, their mothers and fathers are real heroes. But unfortunately, today many aged parents are shifted to old age homes. This is not our culture. We must take care of our parents in their sunset years,” he urged.
Taluk Panchayath former President L R Mahadevaswamy said that women street vendors sit under hot sun to make a living. So, we decided to distribute umbrellas to them, as a token of gratitude, he said
