On 73rd I-Day, Mysuru gets monumental tri-colour

Mysuru: The redeveloping railway station in the city has gifted its first look on the day independent India turned 73.

A monumental national flag in the dimension of 20×30 feet was hoisted on 100 feet tall post on the premises of the railway station.
It was a moment of glory and joy that drew enthusiastic crowds with patriotism running high with the sight of tri-colour flying high.
Mysuru- Kodagu MP Prathap Simha who hoisted the flag reiterated the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the development of railways. Mysuru is one among the 65 railway stations being redeveloped in the country.
Simha also dedicated the refurbished website of the station- www.mysururailwaystation.com and escalator facility at platform number one at the station.
Divisional railway manager Aparna Garg and others were present.
