Nursing trainee at Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences alleges sexual harassment! Authorities form in house probe panel

Chamarajanagar: The newly opened Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) is in news for a wrong reason.
A nursing trainee has accused a staff of a department of sexual harassment. She has lodged a complaint with both the college dean and district surgeon.
It is alleged that the said staff tried to misbehave, when the girl raised an alarm only to find help in fellow students who came to her rescue.
According to Dr Sanjeev dean of CIMS “A committee has been formed to probe into the complaint. The police also have been asked to look into the complaint. Action will be initiated only on the receipt of the report.”
