Now, you can sip herbal coffee at Mysuru railway station

Mysuru: Herbal coffee that has been gaining popularity of late is now made available at the railway station in Mysuru.

A kiosk offering coffee in different flavours was inaugurated near the main entrance of the station in the circulating area on December 14.

The kiosk offers coffee in different flavours dispensed through machines. The other food items like Samosa, cookies made out of millet are also available here.

It is the first of five kiosks that are planned to be set up on the railway premises. The other kiosks will be providing space to inlay works in rosewood, agarbathis and organics and natural items. They will be opened soon.

It will also help the South Western Railways Mysuru division in shoring up revenue by optimal utilisation of open space without disturbing the aesthetics of good old railway station building.

Divisional Railway Manager Aparna Garg inaugurated the kiosk and also tasted the coffee.

Manu Gowda Director of Ace Enterprises which holds the license of the kiosk was also present.

Senior branch officers and supervisors were present, according to R Satish senior divisional operations manager and Sr PRO, SWR, Mysuru division.
