Now, DHO Dr T Amarnath transferred; Chamarajanagar DHO posted to Mysuru

Mysuru: Transfer of officers in key posts continues in the district, amidst Covid second wave, with the latest being District Health Officer (DHO) Dr T Amarnath.
Amarnath has been transferred to Bengaluru, while his counterpart in Chamarajanagar Dr Prasad is transferred to Mysuru.
An audio clip of Dr Amarnath expressing his inability to find a bed for his wife had gone viral and many of them had taken exception to his style of working.
He also had to face the wrath of district incharge minister and MLAs who had lashed at him for many lapses in Covid management, especially in the procurement of medicines.
Now, the state government has changed his place of work and transfered to Bengaluru.
Recently, Deputy commissioner, MCC Commissioner and SP and DCP (law and order) were transferred and replaced by new faces.
