‘Hunsur by-polls: Former MLA Vishwanath has a different game plan’

Mysuru: Ever since the by-elections has been announced for 15 among 17 constituencies in the State, Hunsur is the only such constituency which has been hogging limelight for many reasons.

The recent is- neither the former MLA A H Vishwanath nor his son will be contesting the by- elections on BJP ticket. It will be a former MLA from Bengaluru side, who will be fielded as BJP candidate in the by- elections from Hunsur.

K R Nagar JD(S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh who made this startling revelation on October 16, said “As per an understanding reached between Vishwanath and the BJP leaders, Vishwanath will be nominated to Legislative Council and chances of also being made as Mysuru district in- charge minister are ripe”.

Mahesh announced that “I will also accept the challenge thrown  by Vishwanath to prove before the Goddess Chamundeshwari at Chamundi Hll that the allegations of receiving money (by Vishwanath) for switching sides is true. If I am proven wrong, I will take political retirement”, said Mahesh.

Mahesh said ” I am fed up with the allegations and counter allegations that is turning harsh and have decided to stop making any personal attack on Vishwanath”, said Mahesh.

JD(S) city president K T Chaluvegowda, spokesperson N R Ravichandre Gowda, former ZP member C J Dwarkish, leaders Prakash, Koppal Rajanna and B S Ashwin were present.
