No CM yet: Swearing-in ceremony preparations at Kanteerava Stadium put on hold

Bengaluru: With no end in sight for the Congress high command chose the chief minister between Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar, all preparations that were going on for the supposed swearing-in ceremony at the Kanteerava Stadium here have been put on hold.
As speculations were rife that the chief minister for Karnataka will be finalized by Wednesday evening, preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of the future chief minister – expected on Thursday – was going on in full swing at the stadium. However, the officials in-charge of the preparations have been instructed to keep the work on pending until an official announcement is made.
It may be recalled here that AICC leader of Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surejwala on Wednesday clarified that the party has not yet finalised the candidate for the chief minister’s post. He also appealed to the people not to believe any such reports and the decision would soon be taken in the next 48 hours
