No booze! Clubs can open doors for games, food

Mysuru: The social clubs that have been restricted from serving liquor, can only open doors for sports activities and food service.
According to a recent notification from the office of principal secretary of revenue department (disaster management) and member secretary state executive committee, it has been clarified that “the social clubs in the state can conduct sports related activities and serve food on the table, complying with the regulations and guidelines issued by the central and state governments in relation to Covid-19”.
However, it has been strictly prohibited from serving liquor.
Hotel Owners Association (HOA) Mysuru President C Narayan Gowda who is also the president of Cosmopolitan Club Mysuru has also confirmed about the recent notification from the authorities.
