NIEIT hosts webinar on ‘Electronics the future of our generation’

Mysuru: NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT), Mysuru, IEEE student branch and Department of EEE had organised a webinar on “Electronics : The future of our generation” recently.
Dr Parameshachari B D, ACM distinguished speaker, professor & head, Department of TCE, GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru was the resource person.
Parameshachari started the session with the introduction to electronics, need of electronics for future generation, developments in electronics and emerging technologies for the budding engineers.
He also emphasised on pros and cons of the past, present and upcoming technologies, besides providing the insights about what after degree? i.e the opportunities in IT sector, Core sector and Government sectors.
He also explained how the students should prepare and build skills to face placement drives and any public sector exams?
Parameshachari concluded by highlighting the scope of electronics as without electronic gadgets one cannot imagine even their daily life.
The webinar was attended by more than 70 participants from Department of EEE, NIEIT, Mysuru.
Earlier it was commenced by welcoming the panel members, resource person and participants by Lokesh M, Coordinator of the webinar.
It was graced by Dr Bansilal, Principal, NIEIT and Dr Archana N V, Professor & Head, Dept. of EEE,NIEIT, Mysuru.
The participants expressed that the webinar gave valuable inputs and most of the doubts related to future generation of electronics were cleared by the resource person.
