New office of Azeez Sait Block Congress Committee inaugurated

Mysuru: MLA and former minister Tanveer Sait inaugurated the new office of Azeez Sait Block Congress Committee near Tipu Circle, C V road, Bannimantap in the city.
Tanveer Sait is the sitting MLA of Narasimharaja constituency and is seeking reelection for sixth consecutive term in the elections to Legislative Assembly on May 10. Sait’s father late Azeez Sait had served as the MLA of Narasimharaja for several terms, till his death in December 2001.
Considering the contributions of Azeez Sait, a block Congress Committee is named after the veteran leader, since last few decades.
President of Azeez Sait Block Congress Committee Syed Iqbal, former Mayor and Corporator Arif Hussain, City Congress president R Murthy, Manjunath G N, Nagesh Kariappa, Raghuraje Urs, Shahbuddin, Rehman Khan, Showkath Ali Khan and others were present.
