Bengaluru: Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme implementation D V Sadanada Gowda has written to Union Human Resources Development ( HRD) Minister Prakash Javadekar to conduct re-examination for those candidates who missed national eligibility cum entrance test ( NEET) on Sunday.
In a letter addressed to the minister on Monday, Gowda who is the sitting Bengaluru North MP has reminded the union minister that ‘500 students had to miss the exam due to the change in venue of exam centres. The late arrival of Hampi Express train to Bengaluru by five hours, marred the chances of 300 students who travelled from north karnataka’.

The NEET authorities should have given wide publicity and intimated the students well in advance about the change in venue of centres, the minister has said.
