Mysuru: Nayaka community leaders in the city on Monday paid rich tributes to freedom fighter Sindhoora Lakshmana.
Lakshmana of Sangli district in Maharashtra State became a martyr at the young age of 23 in the year 1922, in his fight against the colonial rule.
Mysuru Nayaka Pade had organised the programme in commemoration of Lakshmana, that was inaugurated by Arpita Prathap Simha wife of Mysuru- Kodagu MP Prathap Simha.
A floral tribute was offered to the portrait of Lakshmana.
Advocate Paduvarahalli M Ramakrishna, Raju Market, Kyatamaranahalli Venkatesh, BJP Mysuru city vice- president Veerangere Srinivas, Pura Ram Nayak, Tennis Gopi, Channagiri Koppal Siddaraju, T Nagaraju, M Shivaprakash, M Mahesh, S Prathap and K B Swamy were present.
