1 min read

New Delhi: In a move to enhance passenger convenience during the festive season, Indian Railways has introduced a Navratri Special Thali, now available at over 150 railway stations across the country.

This initiative caters to passengers observing the Navratri fast, offering a special menu that aligns with religious dietary restrictions.

Passengers can order the Navratri Vrat Special Thali through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) mobile app or e-catering website. Stations offering the service include major hubs such as Mumbai Central, New Delhi, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, and more.

Designed to maintain the spirit of the festival, the Thali prioritizes both nutrition and taste. The booking process is simple; passengers need only enter their PNR number on the IRCTC platforms to reserve their meal.

This festive offering is part of Indian Railways’ ongoing efforts to improve passenger experience, ensuring that even those observing fasts can enjoy fresh and wholesome meals while travelling on train.
