Nationwide general strike! Joint Committee of Trade Unions lead mammoth protest rally to DC office

Mysuru: Various trade unions took out a mammoth protest rally as part of the nationwide general strike on second and last day on Tuesday.
Joint Committee of Trade Unions (JCTU) and allied organisations like AIUTUC, AT & S India Employees Union took out a mega protest rally from Town Hall to DC office.
Over thousand agitators from various organised and unorganized sectors took part in the protest.
Labourers of various organised sectors and employees of unorganised sectors are demanding to fix basic salary, hike and provide job guarantee and stop privatisation of public sector giants.
Protestors also demanded to reduce the prices of essential commodities including that of petroleum products.
