National Science Day 2024: Play ‘QED’ brings alive Nobel Laureate Richard Feynman on stage

Mysuru: The Executive Committee of IEEE Mysore Sub-section celebrated National Science Day 2024 in a unique way, by staging a play “QED” on the life of Nobel laureate Richard Feynman, presented by Kalasuruchi – Arivu Ranga at The Institution of Engineers, Mysore local centre in the city on Friday.
And bringing along IEI, Mysuru and Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA)- India Chapter onboard to our activities.
IEEE MYSS Chair Dr Ravichandra Kulkarni, welcomed the audience and put up the premise of celebrating National Science Day 2024 as per the theme ‘Indigeneous technologies for viksit bharat’.
“We believe in bridging the barriers of science and technology through various means and progressing towards development. Think international, work national,” he said.
Guest of Honor Dr H R Mahadevaswamy Joint Director, Technical Education Division, JSS Mahavdyapeetha (MVP) spoke on the need to use Science to advance technology.
Dr Vishwas Lakkundi Chair, MCAA-India Chapter & Chief Data Security Officer, Smarten Space, outlined on the activities of MCAA and the relevance of National Science Day celebration in a unique way by organising this drama was a good move by IEEE Mysore Subsection.
Dr Mohankrishna S A spoke on the life of Richard Feynman.
Dr Ramkrishna Hegde coordinated the event.
