National Public School is helping thousands of needy people in lockdown

Nagamangala: With lockdown 3.0 in place and the needy people still finding it difficult to survive on their own, National Public School in the taluk is distributing grocery to such families.

It is the initiative of founder director of the school Mutheeb-Ur-Rehman and was inaugurated by MLC Appaji Gowda at the school campus on Mandya road in the town.

Gowda who lauded the initiative of Rehman said ” the effect of lockdown is felt to a larger extent by the daily wagers, labourers, physically challenged and other weaker sections of the society. The school trust is identifying such families that are away from the mainstream of the society and the benefits are being extended to thousands of families ever since the lockdown was announced in the country”.

Members of management committee of the school, Govinda, Ellappa and others were present.
