National Police Academy to name its lecture hall after late Dr K Madhukar Shetty

Mysuru: Sardar Vallabbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad, has decided to name one of its lecture halls after Karnataka cadre IPS officer late Dr K Madhukar Shetty.
According to the order copy dated May 11 issued by Assistant Director (Estt) Dr KPA Ilyas, it is stated that ” It has been decided by the competent authority to name hall no- 106 the main lecture hall of foundation course after late Dr K Madhukar Shetty as a mark of respect to his commitment, dedication and also being a role model for the IPS probationers.”
Shetty a 1999 batch IPS officer was serving as the deputy director of the afore mentioned Academy when he died of Swine Flu in December 2018.
