‘Natana Puraskara-2025’ for veteran theatre artistes Radha- Rukmini

Mysuru: Radha- Rukmini sisters duo, noted artistes of theatre, small and big screens have been selected for Natana Puraskara-2025.
Radha-Rukmini’s children Shruti and Sharan, are the popular actors of Kannada filmdom. Another daughter Usha is a theatre artiste.
Radha-Rukmini’s husband G V Krishna, is a theatre artiste, who was associated with popular Gubbi Company for a very long time. In 1974, the couple founded G V Krishna Drama Company.
The Natana Puraskara-2025 award is instituted in commemoration of N Subramanyam, President of Natana School of Theatre Arts, Ramakrishna Nagar in the city of noted theatre and film actor Mandya Ramesh.
The award will be conferred on April 11 at the premises of Supreme Public School, Dattagalli in the city, during the inauguration of 24th year Raja Maja Summer Camp for children organised by Natana.
Past recipients of the award are Lakshmi Enagi Balappa, theatre actor M N Lakshmi Devi, Subhadramma Mansoor, R T Rama and Gubbi Company drama artiste Shanthamma and several other senior artistes.
The award carries a memento, certificate of appreciation and cash award.
