Namo Divas Namaskar! Be ready for a ‘Selfie With Modi’ on September 17 in Mysuru

Mysuru: On account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, BJP workers in the city have organised an event- Namo Diwas Namaskar. The precautions will be taken in compliance with Covid norms.

Former minister and Krishnaraja BJP MLA S A Ramadass told media persons on Tuesday “various programmes have been organised to make the day meaningful, from 9 am to 4 pm at the park opposite Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple in Vidyaranyapuram”.

Under a programme titled ‘Modi for Development’, flex boards to highlight selected 70 programmes of 200 various programmes implemented by the prime minister will be kept on display at the park. Anybody who can write their suggestions not exceeding two pages may also win ‘Namo Prize’ if they are found to be best. The winners will be distributed cash prizes in the order of Rs 5,000, Rs 4,000, Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 and five consolation prizes, said Ramadass.

Modi Photo Album-As many as 70 photographs of Narendra Modi from his childhood to the recent days will be kept on display. The students aged below 15 years who answer the questions related to the photos will be given cash prizes in afore mentioned order.

Atma Nirbar Bharatiya- A total of 70 achievers irrespective of auto drivers, lorry drivers, journalists, newspaper distributors, pourakarmikas and others will be felicitated during the programme.

Modi birth time-The programme will be inaugurated in a novel way at 10.30 am coinciding with the birth time of Modi. A BJP worker will draw the portrait of Modi to mark the inauguration.

A ‘selfie with Modi’ is also arranged at the event.

Namo Music- A non- stop music programme has been arranged at the park from 9 am to 4 pm. The artistes from the family of BJP workers will be rendering songs irrespective of classical, devotional, light, film and patriotic songs.

Online quiz is also arranged in Kannada, Hindi and English languages, said Ramadass.
