Bengaluru: Ahead of his birthday on July 2, Kannada film actor ‘Golden Star’ Ganesh has an appeal to his fans.
Instead of spending on garlands, cake and gifts, the fans should spend the money judiciously on helping those in difficulties due to Covid crises, said Ganesh whose fans every year were celebrating his birthday in a festive spirit.
Ganesh who has made the appeal on Facebook, has stated that “I have decided not to celebrate birthday this time, amidst several lives lost to Covid-19 pandemic. I am immensely pained to lose some of my colleagues in the industry, friends and well wishers to Covid. So, it’s not the time for celebration”
Ganesh has also informed that he would be shooting outdoor on his birthday.
He has also expressed his heartfelt thanks to the fans who have been rendering yeoman services in his name to help those in Covid crises.
