Nagawala Grama Panchayat to be Covid Free by July! CREDIT-I volunteers on a mission

Mysuru: Credit-I organisation has set a target for Covid Free Grama Panchayat by July end.
If it happens, it will be a first such initiative in not just the district, but entire country.
Nagawala Grama Panchayat in Mysuru taluk has been identified for the purpose and several works have been initiated in this direction, covering the villages in the jurisdiction like- Nagawala, Seegalli, Bommenahalli, Hosa Kamanakoppal and Huyilalu.
Volunteers who have encamped in the Panchayat are going door-to-door to check on the status of health of the residents. To achieve this, all Corona Warriors are suitably trained.
Besides, awareness is being created on methods of isolation, importance of vaccine and steps required to keep health after testing positive.
The focus is on the health check of the residents, distribution of ration kits to the needy, immunity booster to every household and reaching the required medicines to the house of Covid-19 patients.
The target is to ensure total vaccination to all. Plans are afoot to set up a mini isolation centre, say those involved in the task.
