Mysuru HR Forum and EdinCSR Team clean and refurbish old bus stand at Raghavendra Nagar

Mysuru: As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) campaign, Mysore HR Forum & EdinCSR volunteers cleaned and refurbished an old bus stand at Raghavendra Nagara, Mysuru on October 1.

Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) campaign is being celebrated from September 15 to October 2 this year through community participation.

The volunteers, Durgesh M Hutti, IDBI Bank, Murlidhar Singh, JIO, Harshith Divakar, NIE College, Kiran Kumar, Smart Solutions, Kushal Rao, Apollo Hospitals, Jay Chalwa, Exide, Satish Kumar, Maverick, Phaneesh M, Edin Bridge, Bindu G P, HGS, Sindhu G P, ShopperStopper, Goutham B M, Radico, Prathibha N, Edin Bridge, Janavi N, MIT College, Nagashayana R, Edin Bridge, Vijay Varsha, SamiDirect, Jaikumar, Jai Fitness, Kavya R, Apollo Hospitals, Harish Chandra, Radico, Kishore Bidappa, MyCem College and many other took in the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) campaign.

The theme of this year’s campaign was ‘Garbage Free India’ with a focus on the visual cleanliness and welfare of ‘Safai Mitras’. The focus of these drives would be on public places like bus stands, railway stations, cantonment boards, beaches, tourist places, zoos, national parks and sanctuaries, historical monuments, heritage sites, river fronts, ghats, drains and nallahs etc. in both rural & urban areas of State/ Union Territories.


The initiative was very well appreciated by the local residents of Raghavendra Nagara, Mysuru. Dr Nutan Punj, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mysuru, inaugurated the refurbished bus stand and handed it over to the public.

The initiative was supported by IDBI Bank, Smart Solutions, and Colortone Textiles.
