Mysuru continues to be under lockdown! KPCC spokesperson M Lakshmana explains why?

1 min read

Mysuru: KPCC Spokesperson M Lakshmana came down heavily on the district administration and the union government accusing them of hiding Covid death related numbers.

“An estimated 42 lakh people have lost their lives to Covid pandemic in the country, while the government continues to suppress the exact data and providing false statistics.”

Similarly in Karnataka, more than one lakh people have succumbed to pandemic. In Mysuru around 7,000 people have died while the district administration is misleading the people by giving false numbers, alleged Lakshmana.

The number of backlog deaths is brought over and added to daily report thus creating panic among the people who are yet to come out of the fear. It is the prime reason why Mysuru is still under lockdown. The impression is that, Mysuru has reported more deaths than Bengaluru, Lakshmana claimed.

Across the country tax payers money is spent on distributing vaccine against Covid-19, but the government is taking credit in the name of providing free vaccination.

The death certificates also bear Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s photo, M Lakshmana said in a mocking tone.
