Mysuru City Bus stand paints a ‘dirty’ picture

Mysuru: The KSRTC City bus stand – on Friday – literally resembled a cesspool with sewage water flowing all over the bus stand, leaving the commuters to bear the foul smell and what not!
A drain near the bus stand area had opened up causing the sewage to flow onto the bus stand. The entrance of the City Bus stand, opposite Garuda Mall, was in a terrible state.
Commuters had to walk through the dirty water and some even slipped and fell into the sewage. And, whenever buses passed through, all the sewage water splashed onto commuters waiting in the bus stand. Besides, it was made more worse as there was no water facility to even clean up for the commuters.
Located in the heart of the ‘Heritage City’, the City bus stand painted rather a ‘dirty’ picture.
Being Ashada Friday, the bus stand witnessed more than regular commuters. But the Mysuru City Corporation – located within 500 mts from the City bus stand – seemed to have turned a blind eye to the whole mess.
