Mysuru- Bengaluru road under tense; 16 KSRTC buses damaged

Mysuru: Following the arrest of former minister and Congress leader D K Shivakumar, the enraged supporters of Shivakumar have taken to streets on September4.
The Mysuru- Bengaluru road passing through Ramnagar and Bidadi has been witnessing sporadic protests with the used tyres and materials burnt in the middle of tye road.
A mock funeral procession of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah was taken out as a mark of protest. Protest was also staged at Doddaaladahalli the native place of Shivakumar.
Stones were pelted on KSRTC buses near Sadashivanagar in Bengaluru. Similar incidents of stone pelting is reported from falnir and Nandigudde and Falnir in Mangaluru.
A total of 16 buses have been damaged and some of them are set on fire, with one bus totally gutted in the incident.
