1 min readMysuru: A couple with an one-and-half-year-old toddler, a native of Nanjangud, are said to be safe in war-inflicted Israel nation. Chetan, a native of Devanuru in Nanjangud, left for Israel two years ago to pursue higher studies. He stays with his wife Shilpashree and the baby. As several Kannadigas are stuck in war-hit Israel, Chetan made a video call to his family to inform that he and his family are safe. He reportedly told his family that the institute where he is studying have also ensured that he and his family are safe.
“Whenever we hear a siren, we have been told to hide in safety room,” Chetan reportedly told his family. However, the family is tensed with the ongoing developments in Israel and is praying for their safety, said Chetan’s sister Lavanya.
