Mysore Palace leaves Think20 Summit delegates spellbound

Mysuru: Delegates of G20’s Think20 Summit were spellbound by the beauty of the majestic Mysore Palace that they visited Wednesday evening.

They were taken on a tour of the palace and Palace Board Deputy Director T S Subramanya keenly explained the beauty and the architectural marvel of the Palace. He also gave them insightful explanations about each intricate aspect of the palace’s aesthetics.

There were guides with proficiency in foreign languages who explained to them the cultural and historical significance of the palace to Mysuru for their better understanding. The delegates were treated to rich artefacts of the palace. They also got a chance to visit a section displaying taxidermy works which left them in awe. They were also treated to the spectacle of the illuminated Palace in the evening.
Later, they visited Brindavan Gardens and Tipu Palace in Mandya.

Some of the delegates have left their impressionable remarks over their visit to the Palace in the feedback section.
